The Muppets on premiere of Good Luck Charlie

The Access Hollywood website exclusively reveals that the Disney channel’s hit family comedy Good Luck Charlie will be started off with the help of the Muppets on its premiere episode for its fourth season.

Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, and Animal will be on the premiere, joining Bridgit Mendler and Leigh-Allyn Baker to perform and fantastic original song, described as being “Muppet-ational.” The premiere episode will air on Sunday, April 28 at 7:30pm ET/PT.

The premiere episode will have the Duncan family thinking about building a dream house after their house is completely ruined by nasty little termites. All of the family members, excluding Charlie, played by the beautiful Mia Talerico, are eager about the idea of building a bigger and better home. Teddy is initially up for the remodeling, however, she is visited in a dream by the Muppets who convince her, in their own special way that their original family home has been their dream house all along, and no changes are required to be made.

Laura Saltman of Access Hollywood was on the set of the Disney Channel series, as she spoke to Miss Piggy about her guest starring spot on the hit family TV show. Miss Piggy was asked if she was intimidated at all by the five kids of the Duncan family, in which she responded that they’re nothing compared to the chaotic chickens, bears and other animals she has to deal with. She was also contemplating about getting on the family train with her long-time love, Kermit the Frog.
